From 1 June 2026, Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and the Leicester Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) Integrated Care Board (ICB) have jointly appointed a new provider for virtual interpreting and translation services.
From 1 June 2026, colleagues are asked to stop using Word 360 for interpreting and translation requests. All new requests should be made through Absolute Interpreting.
What this means for you as a practice?
All interpreting and translation requests (excluding British Sign Language) must be submitted via Absolute Interpreting from 1 June.
Existing bookings with Word 360 will be automatically transferred to Absolute Interpreting—no action is required.
British Sign Language (BSL) interpreting
Please note that BSL interpreting services will continue to be provided by Word 360 for now. You should continue to use the Wordskii platform to request BSL support.
