ASSOCIATE GP – East Leicester Medical Practice

East Leicester Medical Practice has an exciting opportunity and is seeking to recruit a 5-8 session GP to join our dedicated team. The practice is a well-established practice based in Leicester City and covers a population size of approximately 12,000 patients. The Practice holds a GMS contract and is SystmOne based.
The Practice has a great team of GP Partners and Salaried GPs team. The practice also has highly effective nursing and clerical support teams to assist in the daily delivery of patient care. The practice is also actively involved in Primary Care Research as well as a wide range of student teaching. There is a good mix of social classes and a rich diversity of ethnic groups.
We have 3 nursing/residential home attached to our practice. The practice also works collaboratively with its PCN and has joint additional roles to support the GP role. We are situated very close to Leicester General hospital with the Leicester Royal Infirmary and its Casualty department about 2 miles away. Glenfield to the north of the city is the other major hospital which serves our population. The practice has a large MDT approach , we have 3 partners who all have their individual administrative portfolios , 3 members of the management team, 3 clinical pharmacists, 3 practice Nurses, 2 HCAs with a large administration team .
