Following the success of the last years Annual General Meeting awards, we will be hosting the awards once again this year to share positivity and the good work of General Practice ‘family’.
The AGM will be taking place at the Marriott Leicester on the evening of 4th March 2026.
Nominations can be made by anyone to/for in the General Practice ‘family’ e.g. general practitioner, practice nurse, pharmacist, practice manager or other manager, member of practice staff.
The nominator will need to provide a supporting statement of up to 200 words, which should indicate how the nominee has fulfilled one or more of the following criteria:
- Outstanding Contribution to General Practice
- Greatest Leader
- Rising Star
The closing date for nominations is Wednesday 11th February 2026 (5.00pm)
People can be nominated for more than award but they need to be separate nominations.

The LMC will short list up to three in each category and the three shortlisted nominees & nominator will be invited to attend the award ceremony where the winner will be announced and presented with an award. This is a great opportunity to celebrate a colleague whose work has been unrecognised.
