We recognise that practice accounts can often be complex and difficult to navigate, but as a GP partner this is a key area to have a sound understanding of when running a GP practice, and as an LMC we are often surprised of the lack of understanding within the profession. As a result, we are pleased to confirm that the LMC will be hosting a face-to-face event led by Glyn Rawlings on ‘Understanding practice accounts and Income sources for General Practices..’

The session is open to all LLR GP Partners (new to partnership or wishing to have a refresher) and well as Practice Finance leads but capacity is limited, so please book early to confirm and max of 2 spaces per practice.

Glyn bio:
Glyn has many years experience in GP Practice finance and has worked in a number of roles, within NHS Primary Care Finance locally both as a Practice Manager and lately in finance roles.. Currently he is a Practice and PCN accountant for three GP Practices and three Primary Care Networks. Glyn was instrumental in setting up a specialist medical accounts department in a local accountancy firms, which is now one of the leading specialist medical accountants within Leicestershire.
