As you will be aware from our recent LMC newsletter, we have been addressing the situation regarding training and development funding for practices. Currently, Blue stream is the e-learning platform being used across LLR, funded by the ICB until March 2026. The LMC is now exploring alternative options and opportunities that may be able to fulfil some, or all the functions provided by the current learning platform.
To support this work, we would like to invite Practice Managers to participate in an engagement session with two key providers: Blue stream and Practice Index. While many practices may already be familiar with these platforms, this session will provide a transparent and open opportunity for Practice Managers to see demonstrations of their functionalities and the services they could potentially offer.
Following the demonstrations, the LMC will conduct a poll to gather feedback from Practice Managers on their preferred provider. This input will help inform discussions at the LMC Board, so please support us to support you!
To be clear, the LMC is not making any commitments at this stage, but we believe it is important to review these options together.
We strongly encourage Practice Managers to attend, ask questions, and share their views. The session details are as follows:
