26.03.25: Local Senior Coroners and Medical Examiner webinar

The LMC hosed a lunchtime webinar between LLR GP, the local Senior Coroners and Medical Examiner on Wednesday 26^th March, 1.00 – 2.30pm, via Teams.

. The session will be an opportunity for engagement and updates with local Chief Coroners and the Medical Examiner, this is a unique opportunity to be joined by:

• Prof Catherine Mason, Senior Coroner for Leicester City and South Leicestershire
• Miss Louise Pinder, Senior Coroner for North Leicestershire and Rutland
• Prof Peter Furness, LLR Medical Examiner

The agenda will cover:

1. Introductions
2. Clarity on areas covered by local coroners
3. Local themes themes/learning regarding interactions with GPs.
4. How the ME service is working so far and any themes regarding recurring issues.
5. Question & answer session
