Job Description
Bushloe Surgery is seeking a friendly, motivated, and enthusiastic Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The successful applicant will manage a minor illness clinic assessing, diagnosing, planning and implementing treatments. They will be expected to prescribe in accordance with the local formulary and NICE guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, friendly, professional manner, be able to remain calm in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a busy team. Knowledge of Systm1/Accurx would be desirable.
Responsibilities
Bushloe Surgery is supported by 5 partners, 7 salaried GPs and 5 Registrar GPs. We are based in a purpose-built medical centre in Wigston, providing a wide range of services to a patient list of around 13,500. We are also a teaching practice, teaching both medical students and GP registrars.
This vacancy is for 6 hours per week on a Friday. There may the opportunity for additional hours to cover staff absence.
