About Our Practice
- Patient List: Over 10,000 patients across a diverse urban setting.
- Team: 4 partners, 2 salaried GPs, 3 retainer GPs, 2 practice nurses, 1 Pharmacist, 2 Phlebotomists.
- Rating: Rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) following an inspection in January 2025.
- Systems & Quality: Uses the SystmOne clinical system, holds a General Medical Services (GMS) contract, and achieves high Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) scores annually.
- Special Interests: Enhanced diabetes care, Dermatology, Womens Health, Paediatrics, MSK, research opportunities, Supportive PPG group.
- Education: we are a training practice hosting VECE, Yr 3, 5 and Registrars.
What You Will Do
- Manage 4-6 clinical sessions per week.
- Act as the duty doctor for 1 day per week, handling same-day acute cases alongside all the GPs and clinical staff. (This is not onerous – we can evidence this on our system 1)Run a balanced mix of acute same-day appointments and follow-up clinics. Our Patients are given the choice of face to face or telephone, unless clinically advised to be seen.
- Manage your own paperwork and results
- Engage with teaching, training, and practice development if desired.
