We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, patient-centred care within a dedicated, progressive, and motivated team.

Practice Profile

We are a large, well established GP surgery, with sites in Hinckley town centre and a smaller dispensing practice in the village of Stoke Golding. We are an integral part of the Hinckley Central PCN and collaborate closely with other practices within the Hinckley and Bosworth Federation.

  • 11,000 patient list size over two sites.
  • SystmOne practice.

·         Hybrid appointment model, instead of total triage, with online requests for routine consultations and admin requests, but maintaining telephone contact via our reception care navigation team for clinically urgent appointments.

  • We are a teaching and training practice with GP registrars and Medical Students from the University of Leicester (1st, 3rd and 5th years).
  • High QOF / PCN DES / IIF achievement.
  • High standard of Chronic Disease management including Enhanced Service in Diabetes.

About You

  • You will be an experienced autonomous practitioner in primary care, with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
  • You will be willing to be an important part of our close-knit supportive team.
  • You will have strong minor illness expertise but also be able to manage complex and long-term conditions.
  • You will be an independent prescriber and preferably hold, or be working towards, a Master’s qualification.
  • Registered Nurse with NMC registration.
  • Experience working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within General Practice would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SystmOne or Clarity Teamnet is beneficial but full training would be given.

Why CMMC

  • We are a friendly, supportive and education rich environment, with a ‘Clinical Discussions Meeting’ during morning coffee break to discuss clinical cases whilst catching up with colleagues.
  • Regular clinical supervision including joint surgeries, case-based discussion sessions and peer support for our clinical staff.
  • An established and supportive nursing team with a Nurse Manager who has a dual role as ANP and Practice Nurse.
  • Approachable GPs with daily protected slots within the Duty Doctor sessions to discuss or review cases as needed.
  • Competitive salary dependent on experience
  • NHS Pension Scheme membership
  • 25 days annual leave per year + bank holidays (NHS continuous service Holidays will be honoured)
