eDec

Please find attached letter and FAQ’s with regards to the GP electronic annual practice declaration (e-Dec) for 2016/17.

The 2016/17 eDEC will be opened for submissions over a six week period: from Wednesday 09 November to Wednesday 21 December 2016. All GP practices are required to submit their eDEC electronically through the primary care website: www.primarycare.nhs.uk as per the Assurance Management Framework of Primary Medical Services Policy and Guidance.

85% of the eDEC has been prepopulated with responses provided from last year’s collection. The remainder are new or revised questions identified by (n) and (r) respectively next to the question number, Four questions have been removed, 5 are new and 9 have been revised from last year’s collection (reflecting minor changes made to the question). A number of questions are voluntary but we would encourage all practices to respond.

For further clarification about the eDEC please contact your NHS England primary care website help desk at primarycareweb@nhs.net
